TRANG DUE INDUSTRIAL PARK WELCOMES ANOTHER BIG PROJECT OF LG GROUP WITH 1.5 MILLION OF INVESTMENT CAPITAL

Sai Gon – Hai Phong Industrial Park Corporation has owned Trang Due Industrial Park for 8 years of history and development, until now Trang Due Industrial Park has attracted total 51 projects in both domestic and oversea investor, with total investment registered capital is 2.5 billion US Dolar, is one of bright spot in FDI investment attraction in the country.

LG Display belongs to LG Group (Korea), and one of top enterprise on the world specialize in manufacturing of LCD and OLED screen product for electronics products. Now LGD has 9 subsidiaries of manufacturing and other 7 factories for assembling in Korea, China, Holand, Mexico. After surveying and investigating time, LGD has decide to invest in Trang Due Industrial Park to build their project with total are 40.4 ha and investment registered capital is 1.5 billion US Dolar. After signing in-principle agreement on sublease land and complete investment procedure, they plan to start construction on April, 2016 and shall go in to trial production at the beginning 2017. When the project goes into stable production, it will create more than 6,000 jobs for local labour.

This collaboration between SHP Company and LGD Company is a prerequisite not only promote business momentum, attracting investment in Trang Due IP but also has a positive effect, contributing to accelerating the pace of industrialization modernization of Haiphong City. The attention of the authorities, for two consecutive years, Trang Due IP was received the emulation flag from Prime Minister become leader in the field of infrastructure development of industrial zones and attract investment, contributing impressive achievement.
